A MEMORIAL DAY MESSAGE

There are no words to express the gratitude we feel for those who have sacrificed their lives in the cause of freedom, for those who have suffered grievous mental and physical injuries, and for those families that suffer along with their service members.
We remember and wish to thank all of those who now serve and their families as well.
I know that words of encouragement and support are important to our service members. But, I think they might appreciate it more if they could count upon us to provide the care they need if injured and to know their families would be cared for if they paid the ultimate price.
Memorial Day serves as an important reminder and a time for honoring the brave men and women who have given their lives. We honor them with a mixture of gratitude and sadness in our hearts. We continue to live free because they paid the price for us.
The debt we owe cannot be paid to those who have died. But, we can pay a measure of our debt by working each day to support those who serve, the injured, and the families of those who have fallen.
